Obituary of Abolfazl Nassiri

Please share a memory of Abolfazl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Abolfazl Nassiri was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and most importantly, a friend. He passed away on January 16th, 2023, at the age of 87, with his family by his side.

Abol (Al) was born in Tehran, Iran in 1935. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 50 seeking a better life for his family. He went on to become the owner of Morvay's Market and then Finer Flowers. He found passion in his work and the connection with his customers and his fellow small business owners. He had a talent for putting smiles on people's faces during the small moments they passed through his store. He retired in 2018 and continued to enjoy gardening and helping out in his daughter's business, The Flower Shoppe.

His love for literature and poetry was most evident in his story-telling ability; he could easily capture the attention of an entire room. He loved to surround himself with family and friends, and was always the life of the party. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed.

Abol is survived by his beautiful wife of 59 years, Vahideh (Vida); his children, Maryam and Vahid (Leslie); his grandchildren, Sheyda, Nima, Aaron, and Oliver; and many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The Nassiri family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Inspira Medical Center Vineland for exceptional care and compassion.

Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the Cumberland County Campus Educational Foundation, 3222 College Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
