Obituary of Ethel V. Farrell

Ethel Volovar Farrell, 84, of Minotola, passed away on February 9, 2023, with her family by her side.

Ethel was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1956. She raised six children in Richland, and later moved to St. Petersburg, FL. She worked as a bus driver for Buena Regional School District, and was also employed at Spencer Gifts.

Ethel enjoyed crocheting and diamond painting, and spending many days at the senior center.

She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, James; and her daughter, Deborah. She is survived by her four sons: James, Jr., Lawrence (Lorraine), Bruce (Deana), and Kenneth (Christine) Farrell; her daughter, Kimberly (Paul) Chance; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Duffek; and her beloved pets, Prissy and Cloudy.

Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 4:00pm until 5:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. A funeral service will follow at 5:00pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ethel’s memory to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360, or to an animal shelter of your choice.
