Harry DeBenedictis, Jr., 61 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on February 23, 2023. He was surrounded by family as he left us to meet his Heavenly Father.

Harry was born in Camden, New Jersey, and later lived in Westville and Woodbury Heights. Harry graduated from Gateway Regional and later achieved a Master’s in Education from Harding University in Arkansas. He worked on a Presidential Campaign and the 1996 Atlanta Olympic planning committee. He later moved to Myrtle Beach where he worked for many years at the SouthEastern Paper Group. He was also a member of Grand Strand Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time volunteering at many different organizations. Sports were a passion of Harry’s, so much that his nickname was “Stats” – he knew them all. As a child he enjoyed playing every sport, especially pick up sports with his family. He will be greatly missed by them all. Get the fields ready for the rest of us; we will play again.
