Obituary of Louise G. Nelthorpe

Louise Nelthorpe, of Vineland, NJ, will be memorialized on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at South Vineland United Methodist Church, where she worshipped for over 50 years and was a member of the Wednesday Fellowship bible study group. After being raised on a farm in Kentucky, the self described "country girl" married her New York born "Yankee" Army Officer and together they made South Jersey their home. She was retired from The West Company and the Cumberland Manor of Millville and Bridgeton, NJ respectively. She was a dedicated worker, a humble Christian and a delightful friend to all she knew. The highlight of her life was spending time with her family, including her late son, Charles Michael Nelthorpe, her daughter, Bonnie Wobensmith and late son in law, Edward B. Wobensmith, Jr., their children, Edward B. Wobensmith III and Matthew Wobensmith. In addition, her daughter, Nancy Walters and Son in law Edward Walters, their children, Valerie Walters and Jeffrey Walters and his wife, Kayla Walters, and their children, her Great Grandchildren, Gavin Hemple and Kayleigh Walters. In addition, her daughter, Tammy Warren and Son in Law, Jason Warren, and their children, Corinne Bishop, Neva Warren and Christopher Bishop Okada and his wife, Nana Okada and their son, her Great Grandson, James Okada. Louise is pre-deceased by her husband, Charles Henry Nelthorpe, her parents, Allen and Bonnie Grimes, and siblings, Julian, Jesse and Freddy Grimes, Lucy Brockette and Lily Mansfield. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life with a visitation from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00pm on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at South Vineland United Methodist Church, 2724 S Main Rd, Vineland, NJ 08360. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested that she is remembered by donations to the South Vineland United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
