Obituary of Jeffrey C. Bryson Sr.
Born April 18 in 1972, in Montgomery PA. Jeffrey Camile Bryson Sr also known by Jeff, Bean, Jellybean, Fro, Camile, “Rick Ross” and Dad a resident of Vineland NJ has departed unexpectedly on Friday October 6th, 2023, at the age of 51. He was the eldest son out of four children for his mother and the fourth sibling out of eight children on father’s side. In his early years Jeff resided in Philadelphia PA with his mom and aunt Jeanette. Around 11years old Jeff also lived in Coco Florida for about 5years. Jeff then moved to New Jersey and was raised by his mother Linda and grandmother Willette (Mrs. Kitty) in the Newtonville area.
Jeff attended middle school in Coco Florida. From there in 8th grade, he attended Parochial Schools in New Jersey. He graduated from Sacred Heart High school in 1991. In high school he was a scholar and an outstanding athlete. Jeff was Sacred Heart’s High school’s leading basketball player throughout all four years of high school. During his high school career Jeff stood out above all the rest in height, size, and knowledge. He held various positions, but he found his passion in the year 2000 at creative achievement working as a para-professional with students and families. He remained employed there for 23 years until his passing. He was highly respected and loved by the creative achievement staff for his professionalism, his support and being a team player.
In 1987 he met his high school sweetheart Tanisha Young. In their relationship of 9 years, he then welcomed his first son Jeffrey Bryson Jr in 1992 and his first daughter Felicia Bryson in 1995. In year 2000 he met LaToya Allen whom he married in 2010. In their union they welcomed his youngest son Jahmir Bryson in 2003 and his youngest daughter Ja’Mya Bryson in 2005. His children were the most important part of his life. In addition to his children, he loved and cared for his siblings Johnny Isaac, Harold Isaac, and Willette Isaac after the passing of their mother in 2005. Jeff was also a bonus Father to Ja’Quetta Allen, Darrel Carter Jr., Jada Carter. Also, in his relationship with Emily Fernandez he was a bonus father to Robert Gunter, Aniyah Gunter, Alayshia Gunter, and Anijah Gunter. In 2014 he witnessed the lineage of his third generation in the birth of his first grandson in whom the paternal grandparents took the pleasure of naming Jeffrey Camile Bryson 3rd also known as “LJ3”. In 2021 The lord blessed him with his second grandson James Anthony Street Jr. Jeffrey was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a sports fanatic. and a diehard Cowboys fan. Jeff often spent time cooking and hosting family gatherings. He loved playing cards. Spades was his game! He was a spiritual young man growing up and involved in many church activities, including being an altar boy during services. Jeff loved to eat, dance and always stayed sharp. He enjoyed going fishing with friends and his son. Jeff was stately in his presentation by keeping his bi-weekly manicure and pedicure appointments. Jeff enjoyed laughing and being the life of the party. He enjoyed traveling and setting new goals. Jeff was also a real time problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects in life, at work and around the house. Special shoutout to his boys Guy Bethune, Eddie Santiago, Stacey Boston, Gregory Williams, Dave Santiago, Louis Murray, Johnny Taylor. Shout out to Stacy Williams as Jeff would call her “Marie” his little big sister.
Jeff Bryson is preceded in death by Jefferson Bryson (father), Linda Isaac (mother), James E Monroe (grandfather), Willette Monroe (grandmother), Gary Edmonds (brother) and James Monroe Jr (uncle), Karen Hines (aunt), Dante Bryson (nephew), Monroe Autry (cousin).
Jeff leaves to cherish in his memory; Children- Jeffrey Bryson Jr (Ashawntae Johnson), Felicia Bryson, Jahmir Bryson, Ja’Mya Bryson, 2 Grandsons; Jeffrey Bryson 3rd, James Street Jr, The family matriarchs: Aunt Antoinette Averette, Aunt Jeanette Helm Haskins; Siblings- Johnny Isaac (brother), Harold Isaac (brother), Willette “Jasmine” Isaac (baby sister), his older siblings from Philadelphia- Gail Bryson, Stan Bryson, Tina Edmonds, Angelique Bradley, Tasha Bryson and Nicole Bryson of Vineland NJ, Camaline Nathaniel and Stacey Williams of Vineland, NJ. Beverly (Buff) Williams (Mother). His companion Emily Fernandez of Atlantic City; Cousins- Merie Helm, Domonique Hines, Dalanda Averrette Smith, Cheri Averrette, Albert Alwyn and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, family, and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a service from 11:00am to 12:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland NJ 08361. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Newtonville Cemetery, 8th Street, Newtonville, NJ 08346.
