Obituary of Victoria A. Cachaza

Please share a memory of Victoria to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Victoria Ann Cachaza (Pearson) passed away on October 9th2023 (66 Yrs).

Born June 3, 1957, Victoria was born in Ruislip, England to Military parents Jesse L. Pearson and Betty Virginia Scott. Many childhood memories were formed around their time overseas in Naples, Italy and Ishmir, Turkey prior to moving back to the states.

A talented artist, Victoria graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1975 and went on to perfect her love of drawing and painting animals at Hussian College of Art in Philadelphia. She began her working career at Blue Cross Animal Hospital and later began a 27-year career with Inspira Health Network. Her time with the hospital system began as an ER registrar where she met and married her late husband Adam Cachaza at Newcomb Hospital. During her many years with Inspira, Victoria worked in pre-natal care as a secretary, post-natal care as a birth certificate registrar, as well as administrative support in the billing offices and outpatient registrar. It is no surprise that wherever Vickie went, her talents followed, and she painted several murals throughout Newcomb Hospital for all to enjoy and find peace in.

In the last 8 years, Victoria was employed with the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, where she was commissioned to paint her beautiful artwork throughout the building and was part of their activities department. Victoria truly enjoyed her time with the residents, enriching their artistic abilities and participating in events throughout the year. Her lobby displays were creative and fun and welcomed guests daily.

An avid animal and horse lover all her life, Victoria spent her earlier years participating and showing at cat and dog shows and was a member of the Vineland SJ Regional Animal Shelter volunteer group. In the past 4 years, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning a horse, a beautiful Palamino Tennessee Walker named "Yellow Rose" (Rosie), who she enjoyed riding and taking care of, no matter rain or shine.

Victoria's greatest joy, however, is her beautiful daughter Tianna, who she passed her creativity onto. She enjoyed being a mother, and they spent as much mother-daughter time as possible visiting the Philadelphia Flower Show every year, attending Peddler's Village with friends, going to the movies, shopping in Cape May, walking through Fortescue, and summer beach days at Strathmere, as well as much time spent with all the family animals.

Victoria is survived by her daughter Tianna Cachaza of Bayonne; sister Valerie (Pearson) LaMarro and husband Frank and nephew Phillip Welcz of Vineland; sister Diana (Pearson) Urdinaran of Millville and nephew Jesse Urdinaran and niece Isabella Urdinaran. Victoria leaves behind her many adored pets- Marteenie, Binx, Kisa, Tallulah, Zuko, Rosie, Madam Mimz, and the fishies.

She is predeceased by her husband Adam Cachaza, Betty Pearson (mother), Jesse Pearson (father).

Family and friends will be received on Saturday October 28th from 1:00pm until 2:30pm with a short memorial service following at 2:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. in Vineland, NJ. She is to be interred privately in Exchange, PA at the family's historic St. James Episcopal Church in the beautiful mountains of the Susquehanna Valley.

Family lovingly requests any memorial charity contributions to the SJ Regional Animal Shelter.
