Pedro Irizarry, 80 of Vineland, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Bishop McCarthy Residence.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Pedro owned Siglo Veinte Restaurant, Puerto Rico. He was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish and in 1983 he received the medal for Meritorious Service to the Church of Camden, by the Diocese of Camden. He also was President of the Legion of Mary in Vineland.
Pedro enjoyed helping the community.
He is predeceased by his son, Luis Antonio Irizarry, 1 sister, Carmen and 4 brothers.
Survived by his wife of 55 years, Isabel (Ruiz) Irizarry
1 son: Pedro Alfonso Irizarry
10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild
2 sisters: Anna and Lydia
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday at the Church from 8:30am to 10am. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
