Obituary of Ana M. Colon
Ana (Anita) Colon DeLeon Morales of Vineland went home to be with the Lord on November 7th, 2023, in her home surrounded by family. She was born on March 10, 1950, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico where she was 1 of 15 siblings. She was a twin of her brother Sixto and grew up in Humacao, Puerto Rico.
Anita worked as a cook in PR she then moved to New York in 1978 with her three children then to New Jersey where she worked as a seamstress and finally became a homemaker and a loving wife to her husband Rodolfo Morales in 2000.
Anita was a member of Asamblea De Iglesia Christiana Emmanuel church, feeding the community, shopping, cooking, planting flowers, and growing her own crops. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and being around the family. Her favorite color was Red, symbolizing the blood of Jesus, Love, and Joy.
Anita was predeceased by her Parents Gregoria DeLeon and Juan Colon. Also predeceased by the following brothers and sisters: Dominga, Luis, Antonio, Genaro, Maria, Sixto, Jesus, and Alberto.
Anita leaves to cherish her memory: Her husband Rodolfo Morales, sister Agustina Rosario, Bienvenida Colon, and brothers Rafael, Basilio, Juan, and Bienvenido Colon. Her Children: Fernando (Miriam) Cuadrado, Lilliam (Earl) Swayne, Nancy (Donnell) Bluitt, Rodolfo Morales Jr. Stepdaughters: Zuleika, Ruthy, Andrea. Grandchildren: Fernando (Nicole) Cuadrado, Sabrina Cuadrado, Paulina Suhey (Nikki) Kelly, Melanie, Eulalio, Jose, Fernanda, Isael, Yelsey, Donyelle, Katy, Jadiel and Jeremiah.
She will be deeply missed by her 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ with a service to follow at 12:00pm. Ana will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
