Renford R. Parker, 89 of Newfield, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 26, 2013.
Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, Renford had worked as a head cook for Progresso Foods for 33 years.
Renford loved gardening, horse racing, playing dominos and dancing. He is predeceased by his parents; Stanley and Florence (Williams) Parker, 6 brothers; Joshua, Harold, Verrol, Kenneth, Stanford and Radley, 2 sisters; Iris and Viola.
He is survived by his wife, Vilma (Jones) Parker of 52 years
3 children: Craig Parker of Florida
Tony Parker and wife Kelly of Delaware
Caroline Kelley of Delaware
4 grandchildren: Jeremie, Isabella, Grace and Briannah
2 sisters: Muriel and Jeanette
Several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30am at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 800 E. Wood St. Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday at the church from 9am to 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
