Obituary of Elizabeth Bennett

Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elizabeth (Lisa) Bennett, 76, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly at Inspira Hospital in Vineland on January 20, 2024. Lisa was born in Belgium and relocated to the United States when she was five years old. She lived with her family in Buena, New Jersey, graduating from Buena High School in 1966. Lisa held various jobs after raising her children. However, her greatest achievement was owning and operating her own candle and gift shop, Candles in the Attic, in Millville, New Jersey. Lisa had the opportunity to combine her passion and skills to develop unique gifts and home décor that she sold to the community. She and her husband, Joseph Bennett Jr., worked at that store for 12 years, after which they retired. Joseph Bennett passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on September 18, 2018. Lisa is survived by her two children, Victoria Moschella and Victor Scharuda, Jr., her son-in-law, Joseph Moschella, Jr., and her two granddaughters, Amanda Handy, and Alexandra Moschella. Lisa enjoyed cooking, gardening, decorating, using her creativity to make all kinds of different things, and spending time with her family. Lisa was a very generous and giving person. She will be missed by many family and friends who loved her. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Memories, thoughts, and prayers may be extended to her family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
