Obituary of Carl Riccio

Please share a memory of Carl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Carl Riccio was born May 10, 1960 in Trenton, NJ. He graduated and played football for Notre Dame High School. On February 16, 1985, he married his beloved wife Patricia Riccio and they had three beautiful children.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Riccio; daughters Carly Cowley, and Hope Riccio; son in law Matthew Cowley; son Carl Riccio; granddaughter Mia Cowley; nieces Danielle Montgomery and Mercy Montgomery; and nephew Roman Montgomery.

Carl worked as a games supervisor for 35 years in Atlantic City at Resorts, Taj Mahal, and Revel. He was a hard worker and took pride in his time at the casino, but what he really loved was spending time with his family. They enjoyed many family vacations between the Poconos and Wildwood boardwalk. He also loved his family dinners and spending time with his granddaughter every week. His battle with cancer was a very short one. He was diagnosed with lung and kidney cancer in November 2023 and it rapidly spread to his brain. Due to the aggressive nature of his diagnosis he was unable to receive treatment and his family is distraught in the wake of his departure from this world on February 3, 2024.

There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. The family welcomes all who knew Carl and were touched by his life to say their final goodbyes.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe to cover end of life expenses. https://gofund.me/f690cc8f
