Obituary of Jacobo E Ortiz Sanchez

Jacobo E. Ortiz Sanchez, 65 of Millville, NJ, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Jacobo was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Juan Ortiz and Delores Sanchez on November 16, 1958. He had 4 brothers and 1 sister. Jacobo moved to Vineland in 1982.

He was a passionate musician and had the honor of playing the bongos and congas for many bands both in Puerto Rico and in South Jersey. He was employed by Missa Bay in Swedesboro for 20 years.

He has been reunited in Heaven with his children, Victor J. Ortiz and Peter Ortiz and his granddaughter, Maliah.

Jacobo is survived by his wife, Ann Ortiz- Sanchez and his step-children, Darnell and Natie', Reginald and Joshua who considered him uncle/dad and 9 grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10am to 11am, followed by funeral services at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
