My mother was a woman who taught me no matter the battle ahead never lose sight.
When ever times became tough or things seems helpless. It was her who taught me how to fight.
I'm not yet sure if my heart will truly heal the fact that you were gone is a feeling so unreal.
I feel your spirits all around me, I can no longer see you. Yet your voice replays inside my head.
Not a day goes by I don't wish you back, we are left with a life time of memories instead
I lie awake at night when the world is fast asleep.
I take a walk down memory lane, as the tears fall upon my cheeks.
Remembering you will be easy and I promise to do it every day, missing you will be the heartache that never truly goes away.
Even with all of the pain that follows behind all of this heartache and sorrow.
I promise to always hold my head held high as I walk into tomorrow.
I will forever hold your memories tight, deep within my heart you will remain.
Until the joyous day arrives that one day we will meet again.
