Obituary of Jose A. Candelaria

Jose Antonio Candelaria, age 65, of Vineland, NJ passed away peacefully in his home on March 15, 2024. Jose was born on November 21,1958. He was proud to tell everyone that he was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. Jose married his wife, Nancy in 1985 and moved to Vineland where they had their son, Joseph.

He enjoyed his job at Salem Nuclear Power Plant where he spent 25 years as a Security Supervisor.

Jose was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He also enjoyed playing the trombone, fishing, and going to the shooting range at Quinton Sportsman's Club.

Jose is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Joseph (Ashlee) and grandchildren, Lorenzo and Layla; several siblings, and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother, Benicia Carrion and his brother, Antonio Candelaria.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private.
