Obituary of Teresita Figueroa

Teresita Figueroa-Pagan, 71, passed away on April 2nd, 2024 in Vineland. She was born on May 11th, 1952 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Aurea Sanchez and Joaquin Pagan.

Teresita graduated from Grover Cleveland High school in Brooklyn NY in 1971 and went on to work as a Residential Care Specialist for The Training School of Vineland and Elwyn Inc. for many years. She married Jose A. Figueroa in November 1974 and together they had 3 children.

She was known for her love for God, her selfless acts to those she knew and didn't know. She enjoyed playing board games, drawing and watching movies in her free time. During Teresita's later years she was a member of Salvation Army Church in Vineland. She will always be remembered for helping others and having a heart of gold.

Teresita is predeceased by her husband Jose A. Figueroa, Sr. She is survived by her children, Jose A. Figueroa, Mariselis Figueroa and Omar Figueroa and his fiance Meghan; grandchildren, Elisha and wife, Kaylee, Sel, Jacob, Jasmin and Liana.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm at Dwelling Place Church, 125 N. 2nd St. Millville, NJ. Burial will be private.
