Obituary of Laurina Andreoli

Laurina (Silvestri) Andreoli, 95, passed away at home, Sunday, April 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Laurina was born in Montebollo, Perugia, Italy, in 1928 and was one of 10 children born to Nazzareno and Livia (Petrini) Silvestri. She married Ruggero Andreoli in 1950 and then moved to America with her husband and children in 1966. Laurina and Ruggero were married for almost 50 years prior to his death in 2000. Laurina worked for many years at Crown Clothing in Vineland as a sewing machine operator prior to her retirement. Laurina loved her family very much. She was happiest when everyone was together telling stories and laughing. She enjoyed working in her small garden where she grew herbs and vegetables. She would use her homegrown tomatoes to make her gravy. Laurina loved to cook, and the family looked forward to any meal that she prepared, especially her pasta and meatballs. Sunday dinners and holidays were almost always at Laurina's home where all the family could gather and celebrate. Laurina is survived by her son, Giacomo (Sandy) Andreoli; daughter, Luciana Smith, and son, Carlo (Christina) Andreoli. Laurina was grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Laurina was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ruggero and brothers and sisters. A church visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish (St. Isidore the Farmer Church), 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland.
