Obituary of Rosalina Vazquez

Rosalina "Rosa" Vazquez Pedraza 70 of Vineland, NJ passed away on May 2, 2024 at 8:17 a.m. at Vineland's Inspira Hospital. Rosalina was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico on February 16, 1954 to Nemesio Vazquez Serrano and Susana Pedraza who were her adoptive parents, while Santiago Oquendo and Ambrosia Concepcion were her birth parents.

After taking care of her 3 children, Rosa pursued higher education studies to receive her associates in nursing to become a Certified Nurses Assistant or C.N.A. at Inspira Network of Vineland. It was here on the 3rd floor that she helped so many as others do in the medical field for almost a decade before becoming injured on the job. It was on this very same 3rd floor where Rosa had a long battle with her disease.

Rosa is survived by her significant other of over 25 years, Manuel Castro of Vineland, NJ. She is also survived by her two sons, Luis M Rivera Jr and Ricardo Rivera both of Vineland, NJ and 1 daughter, Elba DiBennedetto of Henderson, NV and several grandchildren.

Funeral services for Rosalina "Rosa" Vazquez Pedraza will be held at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:30am with Deacon Arnaldo Santos of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis Church, Vineland, NJ officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. Friends and family of the deceased and survived are blessed to attend.
