Obituary of Luis Mattei

Luis Mattei "Louie" 56 of Vineland, NJ passed away on May 11, 2024 at Genesis Healthcare Center.

Luis Mattei was born in Newcomb Hospital of Vineland, NJ to Mother, Confesora Mattei and Father, Denny Mattei on July 20, 1967. Luis attended Arthur P. Shalick High School and graduated in 1986.

He enjoyed the company of his family and friends listening to Spanish and Club music while playing dominoes. His favorite artists were Elvis Crespo and TKA. Fishing with his parents was an enjoyable outing that he loved. Luis would sing and laugh with family on any occasion. The most enjoyable moments Luis expressed were the times he spent with his family. Luis will be sadly missed and loved by everyone who knew him.

Luis is survived by his Mother, Confesora Mattei and Father, Denny Mattei of Vineland; his brother, Denny Mattei Jr of Vineland; grandmother, Rosa Maria Ortiz of Puerto Rico and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm and again on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 10am to 11am, followed by funeral services at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
