"Jerry" Lillia, age 70, of Vineland, NJ, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2024. Jerry was born on April 15, 1954, in Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point,N.J. to the late Joseph and Rachel (Perry) Lillia. He was a beloved husband of 28 years to Rosalie Lillia (DeSanta).

Jerry was a dedicated truck driver at the Vineland Developmental Center for many years before his retirement. He also had a successful career in construction and held a boilers license.

Jerry was a family man through and through. He cherished spending time with his loved ones daughter, Melissa Lillia, his stepdaughter Amanda (Doug) Carey, stepson Michael Thaler, and his grandchildren, Jerit, Chase, Jason, Mikayla, Isabella and Charlotte. He is also survived by his sister, Ida Stavoli (Donald) and brother, Bill Lillia (Linda) along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. And his cat Good Girl.

In his free time, Jerry enjoyed hobbies such as conversing on his CB radio in his shed under the handle "State Man," listening to all the oldies music , driving his 2021 Dodge Challenger and his Harley, participating in motorcycle fundraisers, and watching shows like "Curse of Oak Island," "NCIS", and programs about building cars and to "How to Catch a Smuggler". He was an avid Eagles fan and also loved discussing politics. You could also catch Jerry at Wawa with a cup of coffee and a scratch off.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, along with siblings Charlie, Frank, JoAnn, Georgie, Blanche Lillia, and his daughter Denise and grandson Dakota.

His upfront nature, caring spirit, and love for his family have left an indelible mark on those around him. May he rest in peace.
