Obituary of Nicole Lynn Homan
Nicole Lynn Homan, 36, passed away on September 12, 2024, cradled in the love of her family and friends, after a brave and relentless fight against cancer. Born in Vineland, New Jersey, Nicole was more than a warrior — she was a beacon of strength, hope, and boundless love. Her courage in the face of unimaginable challenges was nothing short of inspiring, and she fought every day not just for herself, but for the ones she loved so deeply.
Nicole leaves behind the love of her life, her husband Luis Mojica, and their three beautiful children — Seth, Alex, and Briana — who were her heart, her joy, and her greatest motivation to keep fighting. She is also survived by her loving mother, Dorie Moore, and her stepfather Michael Moore, who were always by her side. Her brother, Brian Homan Jr., and his wife Tiara, along with their son Carson, will forever carry Nicole’s memory in their hearts. Her sisters, Kelsey Moore and her fiancé Devon Williams, and Haley Moore and her fiancé Micah Cassidy, along with their nephew Andrew, will remember her as both a protector and a source of light. Nicole’s uncle, Jeff Estes, and his wife Wendy, along with her grandfather John Lee, join a wide circle of extended family and dear friends in mourning her loss and celebrating her indomitable spirit. She now joins in heaven her father, Brian Homan Sr.; her cherished grandmothers Lucille Lee and Lynda "Granny" Willis; her "Pop Pop" Larry Willis; and her grandfather, Jeff Estes Sr., who have all awaited her arrival with open arms.
Nicole’s life will be honored and remembered on September 19, 2024 at DeMarco Luisi Funeral Home 2755 South Lincoln Avenue Vineland, NJ. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m., before she is laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery 601 West Main Street Millville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Nicole’s memory to support her husband and children, so that her love and fighting spirit may live on through them. Nicole’s journey was not just about the battle she faced — it was about the love she gave, the strength she showed, and the legacy she leaves behind. She touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry her in their hearts.
