Obituary of Margaret Doran

Margaret Schubert Doran passed away peacefully on Friday October 4th at Elmwood Hills Nursing Home in Blackwood New Jersey.

She is survived by her three daughters, Donna Doran (Simpson,) Patricia Doran (Zemanik) and Margaret Doran (Cali). Her three sons in law, James Simpson, Michael Zemanik and John Cali.

Three grandchildren, Megan Zemanik Sullins and her husband Daniel, Chelsea Cali Scheeper and her husband Matthew and Jenna Patricia Cali; her two great grandchildren, Cameron Daniel Sullins and Vaughn Matthew Scheeper. She is pre-deceased by her husband Robert Joseph Doran.

Born in Philadelphia, she graduated from Kensington High School and began her career as a secretary. After marriage, she started her family and moved to Newfield, New Jersey in the late 1960s.

She was also a resident of both Cranberry Run in Buena NJ and Clayton Mews in Clayton NJ.

She was an avid reader and loved going to Broadway shows. In her youth she was also an accomplished roller skater. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Her last remaining years were spent at Elmwood Hills Nursing Home. There she was a ray of sunshine to everyone she came in contact with. She visited residents daily to talk with them and cheer them up. You could often find her at the front desk greeting family and friends who came to visit their loved ones. She was a beautiful soul who will be deeply missed.
