Suzanne (Phillips Giardino) Stillings, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at home in Millville. Born in 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Benjamin W. Phillips and Catherine (nee Steahle) Deker. She attended Council Rock High School in Newtown, PA, California University of Pennsylvania, Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Philadelphia and Delaware County Community College, and graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree and Trinity Southern University with a master's degree. Her careers were many as a nurse, casino cashier supervisor, drug and alcohol therapist, school counselor, social worker for State of NJ Department of Children and Families, and teacher. Most centered around her love of children and young people, she and her late husband fostered 13 children, adopting one. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Melissa (Mohamed); her sister, Margaret Haring (James); her grandchild, Cameron Stillings-Rowe; cousins with whom she was raised, Craig (Cathy) and Ken (Karen) Phillips; her in-laws, the late Bonnie Anderson, Nancy Hoover (late Scott), Susan (Ed) Berwick; loving nieces and nephews; her best friends, like sisters, Birtie, Millie Martine, and Donna; as well as a long list of other friends who she cherished as family. Suzanne was predeceased by her parents; her stepfather, Robert Deker; her sister, Betty Lou Abrams; husbands Joseph Giardino and Frank Stillings; in-laws, Sharon, Gretchen, and Bud Stillings; and cousins Doug Phillips and Craig Phillips. Suzanne's love of traveling took her to many places and her love of adventure led her to try as much as she could. She loved spending time with her family and friends keeping always busy, whether crabbing, going to the beach, road trips, or simply having a nice meal with friends was her passion. Funeral services will be held privately.
