Obituary of Bryna Manzano
Bryna Manzano, of Vineland.
My dear mother Bryna Letitia Manzano sadly passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the age of 83 years. She was a kindhearted person and beloved family member who touched many with her beautiful smile.
She was born to Franklin L. Bell and Lillian Bell on July 5, 1941, in Bayonne, NJ. After graduating high school, Bryna pursued her love of haute fashion and became a fashion model. Thereafter, she entered the corporate world as a customer relations specialist, starting her "professional" career with the Insurance Company of North America. She was most recently employed at the law firm of Testa, Heck, and Testa (f/k/a Basile, Testa, and Testa) until her retirement in 2022. She worked there for over 30 years and truly loved her job, the people she worked with, and rarely missed a day of work. Many clients of the firm will remember her for the kind words, friendly smile, and comfort she provided to them when visiting the office.
When not at work, she enjoyed music, with a love of old Motown, but generally, she loved any music she could dance to, often shouting the lyrics at the top of her lungs, much to the amusement of others. She also enjoyed old movies from the Babylon era of Hollywood, and gardening.
Beauty aside, my mother was a woman of immense strength and powerful character. She served as beloved caregiver to her mother, my Nana, during her final years of life.
She is survived by her son, Franklin M. Manzano and his partner, Allison Fielder; her cousin Franklin L. Hinson and his wife Vicky; her niece Alicia Hinson, and nephew Aaron Smith. She is predeceased by her father Franklin Bell, mother Lillian Bell, sister Linda Smith, and nephew Derek S. Smith.
The funeral is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024, at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, N.J. 08361. A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
