Obituary of Burnett Reedy

On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Burnett Reedy departed this life at Inspira Medical Center at 10am. She was born October 7, 1962 to Vivian Houser in Saluda, South Carolina. The family relocated to Vineland, New Jersey where she attended and graduated from Vineland High School in 1983.

Burnett grew up in Revival Fellowship Church, where she liked to sing and praise the Lord. In her later years, she found a new church family in Transformation Church whom she grew to love. She will be missed for her sweet compliments to the ladies of the church, always having treats, gifts, and a loving spirit with the children, and her inside jokes with her First Lady.

Through her passion for children, she made a huge impact on her family and friends – always willing to step in and lend a hand and being there for her loved ones. It was that same love and passion for children that led her to often volunteer at her local youth center. Aside from her love of children, Burnett also loved shopping and hitting local yard sales to find "treasures" for her loved ones.

Burnett was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Houser; sister, Terry Reed; son, Adam Reedy and nephew, Jonnie Malloy.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Reedy; sisters, Darlene Mills (Houser), Laura Houser, and Vivian Houser; her brother, Charlie Houser; nieces, Sasha Malloy and Nicole Houser; nephews, Jeremy Malloy, Gavin Telfair, and Elijah Valentine; great-nephew, Kai'ar Nichols; great-nieces, Sky and Unique Malloy, and many other family and friends that loved her dearly.

Burnett's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for all of the love and support shown during this difficult time.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 5pm to 6pm, followed by funeral services at 6pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private.
