Obituary of Monica Badillo
Monica Badillo Santos Anazagasty, 64, passed away on November 17th, 2024.
Monica was born on February 21st, 1960, in Bronx, NY, to Lucas Santos Carmona and Nelida Mercedes Anazagasty. She was educated through the New York School system until she moved to Puerto Rico, where she graduated from high school.
On August 9th, 1981, Monica gave birth to her daughter Kimlee, whom she loved dearly. Kimlee has five children who affectionately called her "Lita." Monica would do anything for her daughter and grandchildren. She also had two dogs, Rocky and King, whom she referred to as her sons.
Monica was a devout Christian who attended Be Ye Holy Missionary Church. She loved cooking, and her most requested dish was Spanish rice. She enjoyed helping people in any way she could. Monica worked at Woodbine Developmental Center as a Cottage Training Technician and Dental Assistant for many years before retiring.
Monica leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Kimlee Fuentes-Gross, Norman Senior (Redz); grandchildren Norman Jr., Monica, Kalee, Namron, Grace, Nah'ree, and Normani; great grandchild, Kylo; siblings, Janettte, Jean, and Drico; former spouse, Antonio Badillo; brother-in-law, Manuel; nephews include, Manuel, Erwin, Angel, Erwinette, Ralph Jr., and Karla and a host of grand nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, Lucas Santos Carmona; mother, Nelida Mercedes Anazagasty; sister, Carmen C. Diaz, and daughter, Sheila.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am, followed by funeral services at 11:00am at Emmanuel Bible Church, 75 Columbia Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery, 550 N. Valley Ave. Vineland, NJ 08360.
