Obituary of Lois M Hannold
Lois Margaret Hannold (Kandle) passed away on November 25, 2024. Lois was born on July 10, 1937. Lois was the daughter of Warren and Anna (Moore) Kandle and was raised in Centerton, NJ on the family dairy and vegetable farm. She was a true farmer's daughter, working in the field and on the dairy farm. She was very proud of being raised on the family farm.
Lois married John H. Hannold Sr. on February 5, 1955, and they were married for 69 years.
She worked at Elmer Agway in Elmer, NJ until it closed in 1990 and The First National Bank of Elmer (bookkeeping department) and retired in 2003. In 2007 she took a part-time job as a receptionist at Mater Dei Nursing Home until it closed in November 2012.
Lois is survived by one daughter, Darla J. Hitzelberger (David) of Elmer; one son, John Jr. (Andrea) of Rosenhayn; two grandchildren, Rebecca P. LaBree and Taylor J. LaBree; two step-grandchildren, Cody McMahon and Paige McMahon; sister-in-law Ethel Kandle; and dear friend (former son-in-law) David C. LaBree.
Lois was predeceased by her mother and father, Warren and Anna Kandle; her husband, John Sr. (2019); her brother, Warren Jr; her sister, Betty Ford; and her brother-in-law, Robert Ford.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Pittsgrove.
Lois and her family are requesting in lieu of flowers, if you wish, to donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
