Obituary of Jorge Omar Brito

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jorge Omar Brito "Yomar" on November 26th, 2024, at the age of 36. Omar was born on June 24th, 1988, in Maunabo Puerto Rico, to Jorge Brito and Jennifer Alicea. He was a resident of Vineland.

Omar brought immense joy to our lives with all of his craziness and adventurous spirit. He was a professional boxer who won many international titles. In his youth he enjoyed playing baseball and was a Vineland South Jersey Little League all-star player. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He is predeceased by his mother Jennifer Alicea, his two grandmothers, Jesusa Torres and Gloria Carrasquillo, his grandfather Pedro Brito and his brother Jorge L Brito "Bebo".

Omar is survived by his only daughter, the light of his eyes Jenymar Brito; his father Jorge Brito; his parents, Orlando "Landy" Ortiz and Mildred Brito, his sisters, Denisse Brito, Lez-Lee Brito, Georgina Torres, Jennioly Alicea, and brother, George Torres, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many Gatas.

His Titi fea, who went above and beyond. She always loved and accepted him unconditionally. She's been my support system and has understood the needs before they emerge. without her, moments like this would be unbearable. I could only say, "Thank you Janet just for being there" love you.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday December 1, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am, followed by funeral services at 11:00am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, Vineland, NJ 08360. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E. Walnut Rd. Vineland, NJ 08360.
