Phoebe Marie Slater, 55, of Vineland, NJ left us suddenly on August 5, 2013. She was born in Bridgeton, NJ on July 9, 1958 to the late Walter and Phoebe Peterson. Phoebe was a graduate of Bridgeton High School, class of 1976. She was married to Steven Slater, her loving husband of 35 years. She worked for Sheppard Bus Service.
Phoebe is survived by 2 daughters, Marlee and Nicole Slater of Vineland, a sister, Linda Peterson Hamilton of Hampshire, TN, 2 grandchildren, Aurora Kohansky and Maximillian Strozyk and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland from 5-7 PM followed by a memorial service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or m.cancer.org.
