Richard Tomasso, 86 of Vineland, died Friday, August 16, 2013 at his late residence, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Landis Township, he was a lifelong resident of the Vineland area and a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1945. Richard owned and operated Tomasso Cabinets and Alterations in Vineland and in his earlier years, he worked for John Spadoni Builders. He enjoyed fishing, boating, playing pool at the Vineland Senior Center, playing the banjo, the harmonica and cards. Richard was one of the original members of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Vineland. He is predeceased by his parents; George Tomasso and Elizabeth (Buck) and a sister; Louise Tomasso. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marie (Yore) Tomasso of Vineland 1 son: Phillip Tomasso of Vineland 2 daughters: Debbie Diorio and husband Joey of Vineland Sandy Allen and husband David of Vineland 7 grandchildren: Lisa and Stephanie Geraci Johnny (Jen) Diorio, Crystal (Rich) Zanni, Darren and Brandon Tomasso, Shannon Allen 11 great grandchildren 1 brother: George (Connie) Tomasso 1 sister: Evaline Goldstein Many nieces and nephews A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21st at 10am at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 8:30am to 9:45am at the church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
