Thomas A. Folger, 71, a resident of Cherry Hill for 40 years passed away on August 16, 2013 with his family at his bedside. He was born April 27, 1942. He leaves his wife of 48 years Linda (nee Spencer), a daughter Lee (husband John) Caselli, a son Thomas (wife Donna) and a son Peter. He also leaves four grandsons John, Jake Thomas, Trey and Luke. In addition, Tom leaves a brother Harry P. Folger III and a sister Jean-Ann Campbell as well as several nieces and nephews. Tom earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University. He worked for Stone & Webster Engineering Co. in Cherry Hill for 30 years. Tom was an avid fisherman all his life and in his retirement years also enjoyed working at the election polls. Mostly he enjoyed attending his grandsons' school events and soccer games though it became difficult for him to walk across the fields due to his long battle with COPD. The family wishes to thank all the medical personnel who have cared for Tom over the past twelve years. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon Wednesday August 21st at DeMarco - Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 South Lincoln Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08361. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at Piney Hollow Methodist Church, Piney Hollow Road, Newfield, NJ. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Contributions in Tom's memory may be made to the COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27 Avenue Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133.
