Ruth Elizabeth Formento Barone, 86 of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Inspira Hospital, Vineland. Born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, she had lived in the Vineland area for many years. Ruth was employed by Estee Lauder Cosmetics as a beauty advisor at Macy's in Hamilton Mall for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading, sports especially Notre Dame Football, going to the prep basketball games and watching the Phillies, 76ers and Eagles, and going to the beach. Ruth was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Barone and John Formento and a son, Peter Hughes. She is survived by 2 daughters: Elayne Hughes Sama of Vineland Patricia Hughes Eschbach (David, III) of Lancaster, Pa. 5 grandchildren: Andrew Joseph Sama, Lauren Eschbach Menapace, John Paul, Anthony, and Vanessa Formento 3 great grandchildren: Jonathan David and Ava Ruth Menapace David Kelly Sama Step-son: Robert Formento of Asheville, NC Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24 at 2pm at St. Barbara's Chapel, 2345 E. Oak Road, Vineland. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and family will be received on Saturday at the Chapel from 1:30pm to 2pm. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Memorial Home Activity Fund, 524 N.W. Blvd. Vineland, NJ 08360.
