Ronnie "Butch" Carano, 67, of Minotola passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Butch loved the sea and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1967. Born in Vineland, NJ, he was a meat cutter at local Shoprite Grocery Stores for 39 years, before retiring in 2008. Butch was a very dedicated employee, only missing 3 days of work in his career. His many hobbies included bowling with his son, Ron; hunting with his son, John; fishing, eating out with his wife, Judy; taking rides with family and watching his grandchildren play sports. Butch was a Beagle lover and spent many days driving around in his pick-up truck with his 2 Beagles, Blackie and Buddy. "Pop-Pop" was a hero to his grandchildren; Hailey, Tre and Aidan. He showed them what really matters in life, long walks, trips to the ice cream shop, picking berries, baiting a fishing hook, building a snowman, simply watching the stars at night and being in the bleachers when they got a big hit. He constantly reminded them about the little things that matter most. He is predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Eleanor (Fulves) Carano, his brother, Carl "Pippy" Carano, his in-laws, William and Mildred Sciuto, his brother-in-law, Joseph Sciuto and his dog, Blackie. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judith (Sciuto) Carano 2 sons: Ron Carano, Jr., & wife Audra (Olson) John Carano & companion Keswicke Jeffcoat 2 sisters: Sandra Panzino and Emily Adams Grandchildren: Hailey, Tre and Aidan Many nieces and nephews and his dog, Buddy Butch was a very dedicated husband and father who always made sure that family was first.
