Rachel Amanda 'Llewellyn' Grant, 57, entered into eternal peace on Friday, September 6, 2013. Rachel was born August 22, 1956, a daughter of the late Aubrey and Jane McCalla-Llewellyn in Greenwich Town, Kingston, Jamaica. She married the love her life, Errol Grant, in 1981. She worked at the Vineland Developmental Center for over 30 years caring and devoting her time for women with developmental disabilities. A devoted mother and wife, Rachel was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed antiques, evening strolls, gardening, and reading. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching football. Rachel had an unwavering faith in God. She was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others in need. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband of 32 years, Errol Grant, Vineland, New Jersey; daughter, Elke Grant, San Francisco, California; sisters, Doxie Llewellyn, Greenwich Town - Kingston, Jamaica; Janet Walsh, United Kingdom; brothers, Donald Llewellyn, Denzil Llewellyn, Benjamin Llewellyn, Eugene Llewellyn; Greenwich Town, Kingston, Jamaica, adorning nieces, nephews; and by her numerous loving family and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Cooper University Hospital for their support in her final days. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am on Thursday, September 19th, 2013 at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 East Walnut Road. Vineland, New Jersey.
