Delfin Cuevas, Sr. 75 of Vineland, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Inspira Hospice Center, Bridgeton.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, he had worked for Russo Farms for many years. Delfin enjoyed gardening, cars, cooking, watching wrestling and playing dominoes. He was known to be a joker.
He is predeceased by parents, Marcelino and Isabel (Bermudez) Cuevas and his son, Daniel "Danny" Cuevas.
He is survived by:
His wife of 48 years, Blasin (Bermudez) Cuevas of Vineland
3 sons: Delfin Cuevas, Jr. of Vineland
Marcelino Cuevas (Gloria) of Vineland
David Flores of Ohio
1 daughter: Debbie Arce (Luis) of Vineland
8 grandchildren, 1 sister and 4 brothers
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30am at the Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, M.I. "Vida de Fe", 1115 S. Main Rd., Vineland. Delfin will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday from 6pm to 8pm and again on Saturday from 10am to 10:30am all out of the church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
