Phillip W. DeSilvio, 71, of Pittsgrove, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Inspira Medical Center in Elmer.
Born in Camden, Phillip was employed as a pipe fitter for 40 years, and prior to his retirement he had worked for the Local Union 322.
He enjoyed time with his family, especially when good food was involved. Phillip loved football and playing in the fantasy leagues with family and friends.
Phillip is predeceased by his parents Nicholas Paul Sr., and Carmela (Caccese) DeSilvio, and his brother Anthony DeSilvio.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Mary Ann (Maccarone) DeSilvio, his children, Nicholas (Tina) DeSilvio, Carmela DeSilvio, Rosario DeSilvio, Rita (Michael Shillingsford) DeSilvio, Mary Ann Carter, and Phillip DeSilvio, his siblings, Nicholas Paul DeSilvio Jr., Terry (Neil) Grossi, and Dennis (Carol) DeSilvio, his sister-in-law Esther DeSilvio, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Phillip will be laid to rest at the Cross Keys United Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
