William Seda, Sr. 68 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, he was a longtime resident of Vineland. He was employed by the Board of Education in the maintenance department for 14 years and retired in 2000. William enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great granddaughter, Eliana. He also enjoyed going to the flea market, doing yardwork, as well as gardening and helping others. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvador Seda and Andrea (Ramirez) Seda, 1 brother, Edwin and a sister, Elba. William is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maria N. Seda of Vineland 1 son: William Seda, Jr., and his companion, Natalie Lugo of Vineland 2 daughters: Haydee Seda of Vineland Carmen Perez and her husband Harry J. Perez, Jr. of Vineland 2 granddaughters: Cassandra M. Rivera and Aliyah Aponte both Vineland 1 great granddaughter: Eliana L. DeLeon of Vineland 2 brothers: Luis Seda, Herminio Seda 1 sister: Haydee Seda A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church, Vineland. William will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Saturday morning at the church from 9am to 10am.
