George C. "Jabbers" Sammons, 61 of Buena died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his late residence. Born in Bridgeton, NJ., he was a lifelong resident of the Cumberland and Atlantic County areas. He was a veteran of two tours of Vietnam, serving in the United States Marines. He was a self-employed truck driver and welder and enjoyed playing the guitar, telling jokes, going fishing, riding his motorcycle and using his C.B. radio. George was a member of the Fire Base Nam Motorcycle Club. He is predeceased by his father, Bernie and one brother, Mike "Papo" Ojeda. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Luann (Seehousz) Sammons of Buena 1 son: Kevin Sammons and wife Mary of Pitman 1 daughter: Tina Robbins and husband Dave of Vineland Many grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Step-son: Bobby Giordano of Laurel Lake 10 brothers: Steve and Dennis Sammons, Mike, Chick, and Angel Guzman, Eddie, Junior, Angel, Hector and Mark Ojeda 2 sisters: Lisa Ojeda of Vineland Sharon Pierce of Vineland 3 brother-in-laws, 3 sister-in-laws Many nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends will be received on Saturday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
