Obituary of Nelsa Martinez Sanchez

Nelsa Martinez Sanchez, 81, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Sunday February 23, 2014 at home peacefully with her family and friends by her side. Nelsa was born on March 29, 1932 in Yauco, PR to the late Angel Martinez and Juana Sanchez. She was active until her illness at the Vineland Community Center where she met a lot of friends. She was a housewife and loved cooking for her family and friends. She also loved to hear the birds chirp, planting, music and going fishing & crabbing with family. Nelsa was preceded in death by her late husband, Jorge Feliciano Torres and a daughter, Ramona Feliciano Torres. Nelsa is survived by her children; Pedro (Ninoska) Acevedo, Gloria (Frank) Serrano, Edward (Maria) Torres, Reynaldo (Dawn) Torres, George and John Torres. Grandchildren; Frank Jr and Frances Serrano, William Rivera, Nicole Passarelli, Kelly(Brian) Storms, Kassandra, Samantha, John, Madison, George Jr., Annalyse, Adam, Shawn and Marcus Torres, ten great-grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday evening at 6pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Thursday from 5pm to 6pm at the funeral home.
