Rafael E. "Dominica" Gomez Bautista, 71 of Vineland died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at home. Born in La Vega, Dominician Republic, he was a resident of the Vineland and Newfield areas for many years.
He was employed at Shieldalloy as a laborer for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, dominoes and was a diehard Eagles and Phillies fan.
He was predeceased by his parents, Maria Luisa Bautista and Rafael Gomez, 2 brothers; Rafael Gomez and Luis "Gallego" Bautista.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Thursday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
