Obituary of Eliseo Villalongo

Eliseo Villalongo of Pittsgrove New Jersey was born on February 9, 1953 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to the late Martin and Narsica Villalongo. He departed this life after a prolonged illness on May 29, 2014. At a young age, Eliseo moved to Pittsgrove, New Jersey where he was educated at local schools. On January 29, 1972 he entered the United States Army, where he served until August 2000. During this time period he met his love, Shirley Ann, and they were later married in 1983. To this union they have two sons and two step-sons. In 1988 Eliseo accepted Christ and in 2004 he was ordained a Minister. He was also a musician and loved to travel and to spend time with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shirley of over 30 years. Eliseo Jr, Johanna, Riccardo (Karen), Lawrence (Allison), Eliseo T. and Lamanzo, 8 Grandchildren, Siblings; Ricardo Figuera (Consuelo) of Florida, Eneida Matos (Israel) of Vineland, NJ and Williams Villalongo of Vineland, NJ. and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11am at Bethel A.M.E. Church South 5th Street Millville, NJ. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Wednesday at the church from 10am to 11am. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
