Obituary of Myrna I. Onna

Myrna Ivette Onna, 49, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2014 after a yearlong battle with cancer. Myrna was born on June 2, 1965 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She came to New Jersey in 1970 where she lived out the rest of her days. Myrna is survived by her ten children, five biological children; Maritza, Alexsandra, Omyra, Melinda, Jahaida, and five step-children Oswaldo, Iris, Damaris, Ricardo and Oscar, 24 grandchildren, her mother Maria Crespo, aunt Lucy Huertas, many siblings, and countless other family members who loved her dearly.
Her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends, going to the flea market every weekend, attending church services, arts and crafts, decorating for family functions and volunteering her time whenever possible. She was a member of the First Rivers of Living Waters Church, in Landisville, NJ for many years. Myrna also worked has a head custodian in the Fairfield Township School District for over five years.
Myrna was predeceased by her grandparents Angel and Matlida Huertas, biological father Marco Onna, step father Luis Crespo, brother Benito Rivera, and grandson Jesus Ramirez Jr.
We like to thank all of those who were with her and supported her throughout the battle.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00AM at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ 08361. Myrna will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery Landisville, NJ. Friends will be received Wednesday morning from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home.
