Michael Pensa, Sr. 88 of Buena Vista Township, died November 14, 2013 at home. Born in Camden, NJ and was a resident of the Buena area for over 65 years.
Michael served in the United States Army during WWII. He owned and operated his own recycling business for 60 years.
Michael enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, working in his yard and the outdoors.
He is predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Ida (Dea) Pensa; his wife, Elizabeth (Pettit) Pensa; 2 daughters, Darlene Sue Pensa and Debra Ann (Pensa) Hannah and 1 brother, John Pensa.
He is survived by;
1 son, Michael J. Pensa, Jr. and wife, Margaret(Errickson) Pensa
1 daughter, Michelle Stidham and companion, Bobby Wheeler
1 brother, Earnest Pensa
7 grandchildren including, Michael J. Pensa, III and Tosha N. Pensa
4 great grandchildren
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 11am at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, 109 State Highway 50, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
