Knowing Kandi was one of the true, authentic pleasures in my life. She was a lifelong and
cherished friend. Her sense of humor never faltered regardless of her own circumstance and she was the definition of kindness and generosity. I can't believe that I won't get a late night, hilarious text from her anymore or an attempt at Face-Time, which she nor I could ever figure out. Kandi was one of the few remaining people in my life who knew me from adolescence to adulthood. Our time spent together as teenagers and young adults was epic and my memories of her are permanent. She was a treasure and I'll miss her sorely.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I know the grief and heartache can be overwhelming. Please find comfort in Almighty God's reassuring words at Psalm 34:18 that He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Isaiah 25:8 mentions He purposes to swallow up death forever and wipe tears from all faces. I hope you find comfort in these thoughts during this difficult time.

This is one of the saddest days ever. Will always remember Kandi as the funny, great person she was. She made our high school years great and memorable. Will never forget those sleepovers! Farewell my high school BFF. Will always love and miss you. My prayers are with the Scarpa family .
