Obituary of Mary N. Perez

Mary "Pocha" Perez, 70, passed away on November 16, 2014, with family and friends by her side in Vineland, NJ. Mary was born June 11, 1944 in Maldonado, Uruguay to parents Marcelina Calabuig and Elbio Garcia. She was a resident of Vineland since moving here in 1973. She worked in Radiology for Inspira Medical Center for 40 years. Mary is survived by husband; Juan Perez, daughter; Patricia Perez, sisters; Gladys Garcia and Luz del Alba Garcia, God-daughter; Andrea (Rodriguez) Schiller and husband Arnold Schiller, and her grandsons; Mateo and Gabriel Schiller. She is also survived by the Rodriguez family (Edith, Jorge, Christina, Monica and Howard, Logan and Lucas) and Alonsoperez Family (Juan Carlos and Sandy) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family in Uruguay. Pocha loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed watching horse racing with her husband Juan. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but Pocha was happiest when having sleepovers with her grandsons Mateo and Gabriel. A mass will be held in Mary’s name on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 7pm at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Our Lady of Victories Church in Landisville. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
