Rosa Szakiewska, 85 of Vineland died Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Gloucester Manor Health Care Center. Born in Ukraine, she was a resident of Vineland since 1956.
Rosa was employed by South Jersey Industries in Minotola as a clothing cutter. She also worked for Tursini and DeRossi Clothing Companies and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Rosa enjoyed painting, dancing, needlepoint and was an excellent cook.
She is predeceased by her fiance Dr. Haji Sade.
She is survived by her daughter, Cherie Faldetta and husband Gerald of Vineland,
2 grandchildren, Laurice Deem and her husband Michael and Jeffrey Faldetta and companion Jenny, all of Vineland and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were private. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Choice Hospice, 200 Campbell Drive, Suite 202 Willingboro, NJ 08046. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
