Obituary of John C. Boyle

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John C. Boyle of Vineland, formerly of Millville, succumbed to pancreatic cancer on Friday, April 3rd. John was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1949. John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara; his son, Brian and wife Julie of Lawrenceville, and his children, Micaela and Benjamin; his daughter, Margaret, and his "little friend", beloved granddaughter, Olivia. John graduated from LaSalle University. He was employed by South Jersey Industries, The Morie Sand Co., Wheaton Industries, and General Chemical as an auditor and purchasing agent. John was a founding member of CURE and one of the first elected members of the Millville Board of Education. He previously served on the Washington Township Board of Education in Gloucester County and was instrumental in building two new middle schools in that district. John enjoyed the occasional golf outing, but traveling with his wife around the United States, Canada, and Europe was a true passion. There was not a cuisine he did not look forward to trying. A yearly pleasure was a New Year's Day walk on the beach in North Wildwood with Barbara. A celebration of John's life will be held at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ on Saturday, April 11th from 2PM to 4PM. Memorial donations may be made in John's name to: Kids' Alley. PMB 194, 283-B, Egg Harbor Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080 or Cumberland County SPCA, 1224 N. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360.
