Obituary of Ryan P. Farabella

Ryan Paul Farabella, 24, of Buena passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was born in Vineland, NJ on March 29, 1991. Ryan was a 2009 graduate of Buena Regional High School where he excelled in baseball. He was a very talented pitcher and while pitching he won the first ever South Jersey Group II Championship for Buena. After high school he attended Camden County College then Rutgers University, Camden, where he played baseball for the Raptors excelling on the college level earning recognition nationwide. Baseball was his life; he played, coached, umpired, and lived for baseball. He also played for the Tomahawks, a men's semi-pro baseball league. Ryan was also a member of the Snug Harbor Sportsman Club and a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Minotola, NJ. Ryan will always be remembered for his cheerful nature, bright smile and ability to make everyone laugh. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Survived by his parents, Ronald and Eileen Farabella of Buena, and Deborah Cantoni and Dan Taylor of Wilmington, DE., his sister, Jessica (Phil) Fischetti, of Jersey City, brothers, Joseph Duda of Buena, and Aaron Taylor of Wilmington, DE., Paternal grandparents, Ronald and Denise Farabella of Franklin Twp. and Geraldine Farabella of Buena, maternal grandparent, Christine Cantoni of Townsend, DE., his Aunts, Paula Farabella of Vineland, Shaina (Dave) DeRosa of Dorothy, Lindy (Chuck) Mapp of Franklin Twp. and Lori (Wayne) Berry of Townsend, DE., and Uncle, Kevin (Denise) Cantoni. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 11am at Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael's Church, Minotola. Ryan will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Family and friends will be received on Sunday evening from 6pm to 9pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Monday morning at the CHURCH from 9am to 10:30am.
