Marcelino Alejandro, 89 of Vineland died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Lincoln Specialty Care Center, Vineland. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he moved to New York in 1955 and later to Vineland.
Marcelino was employed by Progresso Foods, Vineland as a supervisor for many years. He enjoyed music and sung with many local bands and also enjoyed woodworking. He is predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife 22 years, Justa (Torres) Alejandro of Vineland
1 son: Marcelino Alejandro, Jr., of Iowa
1 step-daughter: Rosa Vera and husband Juan of Vineland
3 step-sons: Luis Rosado and wife Iris of Vineland
Ismael Rosado of Vineland
Jose A Rosado, Sr., of Vineland
10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren
1 brother: Julio Alejandro of New York
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Friends will be received on Monday at the funeral home from 11am to 1pm.
