Obituary of Theodore J. Sudal

Theodore J. Sudal, 61, of Vineland, formerly of Mahwah, NJ passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2015 after a two month battle with aggressive small cell lung cancer. Theodore was the devoted son of Anna Sudal of Port Charlotte, FL and the late John Sudal. Ted was a loyal laborer foreman for J. Fletcher Creamer Construction where he worked for over 25 years and was a member of the Local 172 Union for over 30 years. Ted grew up on the family farm in Mahwah, NJ and worked in the family business Sudal Farms, which was relocated to Vineland, NJ when the farm was sold to Apple Ridge Country Club. Two of Ted's favorite pastimes were fishing on the dock of the family home in Port Charlotte, FL overlooking Charlotte Harbor and tending to his large vegetable garden. He is also survived by his loving son Theodore Brandon Sudal of Vineland, NJ, sister Patricia A. Sudal and her husband Donald Thomas, brother John F. Sudal, nephews John A. and Xavier Sudal, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 3pm to 6pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary 375 Sanctuary Road West, Naples, FL 34120.
