Bobby Bryant was a special person. In Junior High he starred on undefeated football and track teams. In High school he was asked to forego football to concentrate on track. In our junior and senior year, the track team was undefeated and won two state titles Bobby was the Pennsylvania state champion in the 440 yard sprint and anchored the record setting mile relay team. He also helped set a new record at the Penn Relays, along with wins in the Inquirer Games and the Meet of Champions. He held many records. Whenever he ran at track meets, everyone stopped and watched in awe. He was so gifted. Bobby always had an infectious smile. He was so easygoing and constantly joked around. Next week is the class of 1965 50th reunion for Abington High School. Bobby was one of the people I was especially was looking forward to seeing after 50 years. I will miss Bobby Bryant. Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences on the loss of your loved one. Sometimes death gives us all an opportunity to reflect on our memories and the hope Gods word provides about the Kingdom. May Jesus own words recorded at John 5:28 give you all hope to one day be with him again in paradise.

Most kids grow up playing wiffelball and imitate their favorite Phillies or Yankees. For my brother and I, it was different. We imitated Bobby Bryant, Ronnie Dorsey and the entire lineup of FVT. Traveling with the team provided us with lifetime memories that cannot be duplicated. God Bless the Bryant family.

Bobby was one of my most favorite student and FRIEND. I loved Bobby, he was a very special person to me. I feel so fortunate that we were able to have lunch in early spring. I am so pleased that I was able to give him a Suburban One League Medal honoring his achievement as PIAA State Champion in the 440 yard dash. I will cherish that moment as he gave me a hug. After all is said and done, Bobby was a very special person and again I loved him.
My deepest sympathies to the Bryant Family.
Ray Coleman, former Athletic Director at Abington High School.
